Photography Norway 2025
The highlight of 2025... Ton's trip to Norway, near Odda, at Folgefonna National Park. It was a holiday with two beautiful stories. One story that ended after 25 years, and one is about to begin.
The story that ends is one where the circle comes a full circle.The book published by Stig Tronvold, which Ton bought in 2000, gave his artistic development a huge boost. In 2024, he met him in person, and they went together to one of his favorite spots... Raunsdalen/ Kvitnadalen. Ton took several pictures... and made later a painting of it. This painting is now by Stig. The story, Ton’s artistic development of 25 years, ended last year.
The new artistic narrative is the expression of new work, which stems from the hikes he took, alone and with Stig. Their conversations... the nature is incredibly beautiful... and if you ‘don't play the tourist’, you'll discover places many don't. The tranquility, the rugged landscape, the changing weather, the drama... He tries to capture it photographically now with striking images and later reproduce it in new paintings.
This album contains an impression of an active journey... in and around Folgefonna National Park.
