On my way to Folgefonna 2025 | 04-05-2025

In the summer of 2025 I’m going to Folgefonna Nationalpark for the second time. Even before saying goodbye to Stig Tronvold I had the wish to come back. I wasn’t ready yet. The trip in 2024 has given impressive and indelible memories, personally achieved goals, meetings and hikes. I already knew then, that there had to be a sequel.

Moreover, in the second week of March 2025, it will be 25 years ago that I bought the book Buerdalen by Stig Tronvold, in Bergen (N.)

Where the previous trip lasted 15 days (including travel days), I will now go for 18 days. Two days around Hovden/Haukelifjell and ten days around Odda.

More targeted hikes, more photography, enjoy the peace and quiet more… and a special hike with Stig Tronvold to the Folgefonna glacier with an overnight stay at the glacier. Photos will be online in the fall, and you can follow my journey in 'the stories' on Instagram.
